Meet the leadership team
Chief Executive Officer
With over 26 years of experience in global retail, Jacques’ expertise and leadership are extremely valuable in driving the organization towards becoming a trailblazer in Kenya’s retail space. In his previous corporate life, Jacques has headed finance teams at several multinational companies in the capacity of CFO.
Simon is an experienced accountant and an astute Finance practitioner. He is a Certified Public Accountant being a certified member of CPA Kenya and CPA Australia. Prior to his current role, Simon has held different roles in his career including six years at Ernst & Young Global Limited.
Laurent’s over thirty years of experience in retail has been instrumental in his role of overseeing the daily administrative and operational functions of Quickmart Supermarket. Prior to his current role, he has held operational roles at other retail companies where he has spearheaded the launch of new ventures.
Betty’s current role is bolstered by her over 16 years of experience in Marketing and seven years of experience in the retail space. She is the company’s go-to expert when it comes to product development, enhancing brand image, distribution strategy development and media planning.
With five years of experience in retail, Irene is depended on for her informed and objective evaluations of the company’s financial and operational status. She is an ACCA member with a stellar career having worked at Deloitte as an Auditor, at Britam Holdings as Group Financial Accountant and at Pernod Ricard as a Finance Controller.
Magina has over two decades of experience in retail. She offers vital support in implementing the CEO Initiatives as well as managing expatriate expectations and founders-partner relationships.
Prior to joining Quickmart, Steve worked for over four years as Lead Consultant and CFO for a consulting company in the retail sector. His over 12 years’ experience in retail and expertise have been integral for Quickmart to accelerate growth through well thought out commercial strategies.
In his role, Dominic effectively manages suppliers and resources necessary for the smooth operation of the company. He has over six years’ experience in retail, after having worked as an Account’s Coordinator at a renowned global IT distributor.
Prior to taking up his role of overseeing Environment, Health and Safety for the company, Collins had garnered over six years of experience as a health and safety expert for various organizations across East Africa. He has worked for over 3 years in the retail space.
